CPC FAQ's
What is the pass rate of the centre?
We are fortunate that the majority of our students pass their examinations. However, should you fail, we will continue to help until you pass.
On our CPC home study courses the information is divided into sections so that we can monitor your progress and encourage you along.
Do I have to do a CPC course before I take the exam?
You can simply book an examination with a recognised exam centre in the country without attending a course. However, having the certificate without the knowledge is no help to you or your employer. By attending a course you learn how to be a Transport Manager.
Can I share a CPC course?
The only course you can share is a CPC home study course. The second person only needs to pay an extra £50. This entitles them to extra assignments, which will be marked individually. They will just share the notes with the first person.
If I start a home study course and find I do not have the time to study what is the next step?
If for any reason you experience difficulties with a home study course you may transfer to an attendance course and we will only charge you the difference in price together with a nominal administration fee.
Easy Payment
If you wish to budget for your course you can pay by debit/credit card or in instalments. Special reductions are available on home study courses if two people wish to study together.
I failed part of the examination in December 2011. What do I ?
From 2012 you will need to take the new examinations covering National and International Operation. This is a multiple-choice exam and a case study . You do not have to take both examinations at the same time. Individual modules can be passed and accumulated until the full requirement for a Certificate of Competence is met.
When do I get the results?
Your centre will be informed within approximately 8 weeks. If you pass your examination you will receive a Certificate of Professional Competence.
What do I do if I fail?
If you fail an examination you may attend a further course free of any tuition charges and sit the next examination.
